Reiki for animals

Reiki for animals follows the same principles as Reiki for humans, i.e. healing and creating balance, but is used in a slightly different way. Reiki can be given to all animals: wild, caged, farm animals and pets, and it works for all species. Scientific research has shown that Reiki can help animals heal physically, emotionally and mentally.

The benefits of Reiki for animals are amazing, and we love working with them. Animals often have a much cleaner and clearer energy field and aura than humans, making it easier to connect and channel the energy. The human thinking mind and ego can sometimes get in the way, while animals are often more open and intuitive.

An animal can choose whether or not to receive a treatment, depending on its feelings and needs. We always ask for permission before a session begins. The animal's choice is an important part of Animal Reiki, as many animals that live with humans have few opportunities to choose for themselves in their daily lives. Being given the opportunity to choose is in itself a form of healing.

What the animal shares with us during a session stays between the practitioner and the animal. The Reiki treatment can be given remotely or in the animal's presence. When physically present, the animal does not need to be held or even touched, we are simply present, and the animal decides whether it wants to come close or not.

Reiki is not used to diagnose or treat physical or mental ailments. It does not offer specific healing in the traditional medical sense, although we can focus on a specific area or problem. Reiki brings energy to restore balance and create an inner environment where healing can occur on all levels. We invite the animal into the energy and it is up to the animal to receive it.

Reiki can never harm, but can do great good. It is a self-regulating method where the healing process is activated in the client's own ability to heal, the Reiki Master only acts as a channel for the universal energy.

If the animal has any health problems, it is very important to also consult a veterinarian. Reiki never replaces traditional veterinary care, but is a valuable complement.

Reiki cannot go wrong because it is simply a redistribution of universal energy, which the practitioner learns to channel.

ABOUT REIKI

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that aims to channel universal life energy to create balance and promote healing in the body, mind and spirit. Reiki is an alternative form of treatment that effectively calms the nervous system, balances our energy and provides deep relaxation.

Reiki is beneficial to all living things – people, animals, nature and even our homes and environments. It is a gentle, yet powerful method for restoring harmony and well-being.

Crystal Reiki combines the classic Reiki energy with the power of crystals to further enhance the treatment. Reiki is also used to cleanse and balance the energy in homes, residences and various places.
